- Certification Description
This drypoint etching, "La fuite de Satan" (The Flight of Satan), has been signed and numbered by the artist, Salvador Dalí. Produced as part of the series "Le paradis perdu" (The Paradise Lost).
Signed in the bottom right hand corner and numbered "Arches 3/20" in the bottom left hand corner, both inscriptions in pencil.
Presented in a white gold leaf frame with conservator-grade acrylic glazing. On the reverse of the frame is a cord for hanging, four felt pads at the corners, and two velcro pads. Also on the reverse are two labels: one top-centre containing information on the etching produced by Peter Harrington Gallery (which erroneously titles the work "Le fuite de Satan"), the other bottom right reading "This artwork is protected with Art-shield (TM) acrylic glazing with a 99% UV filter and a scratch resistant coating. Use a plastic or non-abrasive glass cleaner."
